Cute boys.

So many cute baby boys. There's Colton.
There's Bryce.
And there's Eric. Okay, so he's not a baby. He spent the weekend campaigning in CO. Too bad he is too young to vote.

Do not try this at home. Or at the neighbors.

Emily rode the scooter down the neighbor's driveway yesterday.
Then we went to the doctor because she cut her foot, scraped her shoulder and side and knee. And broke her arm.

I guess she didn't want to show her face, although it looks pretty good.

Happy 29th Birthday Jon!

You know lots of people say they are 29, and they are not. It doesn't seem like it could be true with you either, only I was thinking you have to be younger. Happy Birthday!

Weird Sunday.

Between the two of us we drove to Bartlesville three times yesterday. What's the price of gas? I did see my husband at church though, during Primary of all places, and for about 30 minutes at home between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. It has been in our discussion recently if Emily would manage being alone with just her parents until she grows up. Who are we kidding? It's just Emily and her mom. Thank goodness I have Emily to hang out with. I did get a Sabbath Day miracle when both Eric and Colleen called! Two of my favorite people. Who do you think misses me more?

She's moving a little closer!

This cutie pie is moving to Midland, Texas. I think she's worried about how big the belt buckles really are.

American Idol Concert or Senior night?

I took Emily to the American Idol concert last weekend. I thought the audience would be similar to the Hannah Montana movie/concert/whatever but no, I wondered if I was at an AARP convention. Who knew they were fans? And by the way, no I am not in that demographic, yet. I must admit it was cool to see the thousands cheering for the Mormon boy. The hometown boy was something too.

Go to Jenks Wild when you are bored.

Emily is not big on go-karts, but she lapped these girls and came in first.
If you don't get wet while canoeing, then you can just jump in when you get back to the dock.
These are either really tall 11 year olds or that net is low enough to make a basket with both feet on the ground.
This inflatable had a two person maximum but apparently it is more fun with seven!

Dry Gulch, Oklahoma, it doesn't get any better than this.

Do we have any kin in the stagecoach assembly/storage/rental business? Many folks insisted that Emily and I get our picture taken in front of the family company.
Our production on skit night was by far the most dramatic, most valley girl and most applauded.
Emily with her team teachers Mrs. Cronk and Mrs. Bowlin, also known as a portion of "The Dixie Hicks." For those of you thinking "you do realize you live in Oklahoma, how much of a stretch to become a hick does that require?"

Here's all the moms and dads on stage right before they made us dance. I am about the 6th person from the left, leaning over talking to my neighbor. That is so unlike me;)

Would you keep your money here?

Someday, I will learn to not do my posts backwards. This is our bunk which slept, and I use the word loosely, 11 girls and 2 moms. I had a good 8 hours of sleep spread over 3 nights.

We have survived Jenks Wild!

Emily and I spent this last week at a camp for 6th graders called Jenks Wild. It was held at Dry Gulch near Pryor, OK and was just an amazing place for kids. The camp is set up as an old West town. Our bunk was in the bank. Here are all the girls from Bunk 10. Emily is in the back hugging some cowboy. He seemed harmless enough.
